Weekend Update
I feel as if I’ve basically been living in yoga pants and t-shirts lately! Since the move, it’s been unpacking, organizing, and cleaning, followed by more (re-)organizing and cleaning! The house is coming together nicely, but getting out of the house is a treat these days. (Though Home Depot, Lowe’s, and the hardware store have quickly replaced Nordstrom, Macy’s, and boutiques!).
I took the opportunity to leave the house for a bit of real shopping, (aka Target,) to put on some real clothes, and wear some fun summer colors. My friend Stephanie recently introduced me to CAbi clothing and I’ve been obsessed, particularly with this grosgrain top. It’s so fresh and crisp, and perfectly lightweight for warmer days. It transitions seamlessly from a professional work look with a black pencil skirt to a casual weekend outfit with jeans. The neckline is perfect for either a necklace or earrings, and the diverse pattern gives many options for color pairings. I’ve been expanding my earring collection lately, thanks to Rocksbox, so I wore my new favorite druzy earrings.
