Nordy Girl

Plus Size Style, Style

Despite our flurries of random hail storms, spring is upon us in the Seattle area! I’m so excited to have a little bit of sun and see the flowers blooming all around town. Of course I’m even more excited at the prospect of breaking out some fun spring and summer style dresses! Here’s my first spring dress of the season.

I first debuted this dress at the Lucky FABB conference a few weeks ago. While I wanted something new to wear to the conference, I purchased this dress because it stays true to my style and is something that I can wear again and again this spring and summer.
I picked up this dress at [shopsense shopsense_url=”” original_url=”” save_to_store=”false”]Nordstrom[/shopsense] (similar [shopsense shopsense_url=”” original_url=”″ save_to_store=”true”]here[/shopsense]). It’s the perfect spring dress as it’s made out of a very light and flowy material. It’s casual enough to dress it down for a day of shopping or coffee with the girls, but could easily be dressed up as well. I actually went for somewhere in the middle – pairing the dress with a cropped denim jacket and wedges give this outfit a casual elegance.
I’m probably most excited for my darling [shopsense shopsense_url=”none” original_url=”” save_to_store=”false”]Rebecca Minkoff[/shopsense] ‘Nordy Girl’ clutch (photo below). I’d seen these around a few years ago and always wished I would have snagged one, because let’s be honest, I’m a Nordstrom girl through and through! At the same time that I came across this dress I found this Nordy Girl bag! It was meant to be.
What are you most excited to wear this spring?
