Purpose

Style

For the past week I’ve known that I wanted to share these outfit photos today. Why? I have no idea. It just seemed like the right timing to share these photos but for the last week I’ve been dumbfounded as to what I should write. I guess you could say it’s Monday and I’ve got a case of writer’s block.

There’s just so much going on: in the world, in your personal life, in my personal life. We’re all at different stages and places, but one thing is the same: we’re all busy. When you take time out of your jam-packed days to read my blog I want you to find something inspiring. So that’s what we’re going to chat about today: having purpose.

I think many people would be surprised to learn just how much time it takes me to create a blog post or Instagram post, and I’m not talking about the photography. The words behind the photo can be even more important than the actual picture itself. I don’t want to post for the sake of posting. I aspire to tell a story and add some sort of value to your daily life. Sometimes I’ll spend all day stewing on what I should write. Each and every one of my words needs to have a purpose.

But having purpose extends beyond the invisible walls of my online platforms. At work, in relationships, and even during what may seem like a small interaction, I try to make sure that interaction is quality and purposeful. Do you?
