Workwear Layering

Style

Fall always finds me attempting the art of layering and with the last few weeks hovering at or around freezing, layering has been the only way to stay warm, even around the office. Sweaters, boots, and skinny jeans are essential to my fall style and striking the perfect balance for work is not always as easy as you might think.

Casual Fall Work Style

I started with a pair of dark skinnies, but depending on how formal your office is, opting for black skinnies, cords, or leggings, might be another option for you. A dressier sweater with a hint of sparkle layered over a long button-up provides the perfect combination for a professional yet stylish office ensemble. A few smart accessories – a bold watch, oversized bag, and delicate earrings – top off the outfit. And if you’re looking for some outerwear to keep you warm, throw on a warm wool jacket and a cashmere scarf for extra protection!
