Explore more. Explore always. Explore nature. Explore your city. Explore the world.
I wasn’t always the explorer that I am today. I used to be content with sitting at home, watching TV, and just doing things close to home. Then, my senior year I had the opportunity to travel with my high school to England, Scotland, and France with fellow students. In those two weeks my whole world was turned upside down. I’d found a new love.
That’s when my love for travel was born. I spent that entire trip in amazement and awe of these other beautiful places that I had the opportunity to see. I had an unquenchable thirst for more travel, more exploring, and more adventuring.
I craved more opportunities to travel and explore, and while I have had so many opportunities domestically and internationally to explore, one thing has got away from me: exploring my own backyard.
Washington is such a beautiful state with so many places to go, see, and do, from mountains to beaches, and everything in between, how can you not love to get outside and explore this state?
Adventure and exploration can always start in your own backyard. You don’t have to be a jetsetter to find the beauty of this world we live in!
